Communications CommitteeThe Communications Committee acts as a venue by which the society conveys information to the membership and other non-member contacts. The committee works to increase communication within the organization to facilitate information sharing and exchange. The committee engages members and recruits new interest through use of the chapter website, social media, and marketing materials. Supporting the chapter and the advancement of ITS, the committee develops a semi-annual newsletter as well as continually posts relevant information to GRITS sites, keeping members informed of ITS news, not limited to the GRITS chapter but the ITS industry in the region. The committee also coordinates with and supports other committees within the chapter in developing and implementing ways to engage members and non-members in ITS and the GRITS chapter. |
